Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: August 14, 2026

You can delete your Tartol account and its associated data, or request deletion only of data received through a connected Meta, Facebook, or Instagram business integration.

Delete your Tartol account

  1. Sign in to your Tartol account.
  2. Open Settings > Security.
  3. Scroll to Delete account and select Delete account.
  4. Enter DELETE MY ACCOUNT and request the confirmation email.
  5. Open the email from Tartol and follow the confirmation link. Nothing is disabled until you confirm.

Request deletion of Meta-connected data only

Email privacy@tartol.com from the email address associated with your Tartol account. Use the subject Meta Data Deletion Requestand include your Tartol account email and workspace name. State that you want data received through the Meta integration deleted while keeping your Tartol account.

We may ask you to verify your identity or workspace authority before completing the request. Do not send your Facebook password, Tartol password, access tokens, recovery codes, or two-factor authentication codes.

Disconnect Tartol from Meta

To stop future access from the Meta side:

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy > Settings.
  2. Open Apps and websites.
  3. Find Tartol, select Remove, and confirm.

Disconnecting prevents future non-public access through that connection, but it does not by itself delete information previously stored by Tartol. Use one of the deletion options above to request deletion from Tartol.

What the request covers

Where applicable, deletion of Meta-connected data includes:

  • Meta connection credentials and access tokens stored by Tartol
  • Connected business, ad account, Page, Instagram account, pixel, and catalog identifiers
  • Campaign, ad, creative, performance, lead, and catalog data imported through the connection
  • Cached or derived integration data that can be linked to your account or workspace

Processing and retention

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Limited records may be retained when required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before they are overwritten or deleted. Aggregated or anonymized information that can no longer identify you may be retained.
